Maeda MC285C spider crane with 2.82-tonne lift capacity in an ultra-compact 750mm-wide, track-mounted package for confined space and interior access lifting. Available for hire across Perth and Western Australia.
The Maeda MC285C Spider Crane is the most compact and access-capable crane in Rigsafe’s fleet, delivering 2.82 tonnes of lift capacity in an ultra-narrow track-mounted package just 750mm wide — enabling crane access in doorways, stairwells, service lifts, and confined interior spaces where conventional cranes simply cannot reach.

Its five-section telescoping boom extends to 8.575 metres for a maximum working radius of 8.2 metres, providing precise lifting capability in the confined interior environments that characterise renovation, refurbishment, and complex industrial installation projects across WA.

Powered by a Stage V-compliant Yanmar diesel engine and controlled via HBC radio remote, the MC285C operates safely and efficiently from a distance — giving the operator clear sight lines and precise control over every lift in even the most complex confined space environments. The rubber track drive system delivers low ground pressure and excellent floor protection, making this crane the preferred choice for sensitive structural floors, finished interior spaces, and cleanroom environments.

From high-rise building refurbishment and curtain wall installation to machinery relocation inside factories, plant and equipment installation in confined industrial spaces, and underground facility work, the MC285C brings crane capability to the access-restricted projects that demand it most. Available for hire across Perth and Western Australia.
