Rigsafe supported the construction of the elevated rail component of Perth’s METRONET program, contributing to one of Western Australia’s first large-scale elevated rail infrastructure projects.
The works required the use of specialised gantry cranes that had not previously been operated in Perth. To ensure successful implementation, Rigsafe collaborated with interstate specialists to introduce the equipment and adapt its operation to local site conditions.
Our team underwent extensive training to develop the skills required to safely and efficiently operate the gantry systems, enabling structural components to be installed while minimising ground disruption and maintaining project progress.
The experience gained during this project significantly expanded our workforce capability and positioned Rigsafe to support future infrastructure projects requiring specialised lifting and gantry systems.
