Project Requirements and Site Conditions

The Joondalup Health Campus redevelopment is Rigsafe's longest-running healthcare project, spanning seven construction stages over more than five years. The redevelopment included major upgrades to both the public and private hospital facilities while maintaining an active healthcare environment.

As each construction stage progressed, site access continually changed. Areas initially used for crane setup and material laydown gradually became occupied by new buildings, requiring lifting methodologies, crane selection and installation sequencing to be continually reviewed and adapted.

Successfully delivering the project required long-term planning, flexibility and close collaboration with the principal contractor to ensure construction could continue safely and efficiently throughout every stage of the redevelopment.
